Black Policeman Shot 28 Times by 4 Chicago Cops and Lived
An incident that took place on February 21, 2005 in Chicago, Ill left Howard Morgan in the hospital clinging to life after being shot 28 times. After being pulled over by CPD, for driving the wrong way down a one way. Officers claim that Morgan became belligerent when they attempted to arrest him and pulled out his service gun and began shooting. The 4 officers then returned fire. Leaving Morgan with 28 bullets in him. Morgans wife claims their version of events is completely “ludicrous”. Now recovered from his injuries, he has been tried and sentenced to 40 years in prison for attempted murder by Judge Clayton J. Crane. Did i neglect to mention Morgan is black, and all 4 officers were white. “I am in God‘s hands,” Morgan, 61, said after the sentence was handed down on Thursday.
